Awakening International has developed a strong partnership with local efforts to restore and renew communities in Guatemala. This beloved country and its beautiful people have stolen the hearts of Awakening International missions teams time and time again.

 

Some of the local ministries Awakening International Church has partnered with in times past include Forever Changed International, Believe Guatemala, led by Joel Juárez and, most predominantly, Transforming Futures, led by Pablo Villagrán. 

 

Both Joel Juárez from Believe Guatemala and Pablo Villagrán from Transforming Futures work with their teams to consistently provide families living in the Guatemala City Dump, as well as surrounding impoverished rural communities, with nourishment, shelter, education, and ministry. Through these organizations Awakening International has sponsored orphaned children so they can eat, have shelter, be loved, restored, and given the opportunity for a different future.
