Originally named Cross of Christ Believer’s Fellowship Church, the congregation began in a small storefront in the Ebensburg Mini-Mall, later moving to the DEP building basement in Ebensburg, and finally to our current home, the former Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Revloc, Pennsylvania. In 2004, as our reach expanded globally through missions and giving, our name was changed to Awakening International Church. From the beginning, Pastors Michele and Brian have carried a vision to see every believer equipped for ministry, moving in spiritual gifts with unity and love. That same year, Pastors Dick and Karen Yates joined the leadership team, strengthening the ministry through preaching, training, and shared vision. Awakening International Church is marked by a strong anointing in prophetic intercession, where we have witnessed countless lives transformed and miracles manifested through the power of prayer. We are a worshiping church that believes in building altars before the Lord, creating sacred spaces in His presence where hearts are transformed, burdens are lifted, and heaven touches earth. Looking ahead, we envision a future where believers are equipped and empowered to walk in their God-given callings, moving in the gifts of the Spirit with accuracy and power. Our heart is to see unity within the Body of Christ; churches without walls, believers of every background standing together as one in the unity of the Spirit, advancing the Kingdom of God in Western Pennsylvania and throughout the world.
